Fasting in the Fast Lane – Muslims @ Olympics 2012

*Updated*

MV: Aselamulaikum!

While many of us are complaining at home for fasting in a hot summer day, around 3500 Muslims are competing at the Olympics this yearsubhanAllah! And as if you don’t have to be fast enough at the Olympics, many of them are  fasting. I have mad respect for these people, seriously, not only are they representing a positive outlook of Muslims around the world, they’re not leaving their deen for their career and hobby. (Sort of like Br. Hussein Abdullah) May Allah (swt) reward them for their hard work and make the sport even easier for them :) Ameen.

I’ve seen several different pictures of Muslim athletes of this year floating around, so I decided to compile them and put them up. Here they are:

Note: I’ll be adding more once more start coming through inshAllah.
