Spotlight: Famous Muslims @ Hajj (2012)

MV: When Muslims go to Hajj, everyone wears the same clothing (Ihram). This goes to show that no matter how famous you are, how much of a fan base you have, your equal under the eyes of Allah swt; Hajj is a great example of this.

This year’s Hajj included some famous Muslims (i.e. Shaykhs, speakers, etc) including: Br. Nouman Ali Khan (Bayyinah Institute)  , Shaykh Omar Suleiman (Islamic Learning Foundation) , Sheikh Muhammad Alshareef (Al-Maghrib), Ustādh Abu Eesa Niamatullah (Al-Maghrib), Shahid Afridi (Pakistani Cricketer),  Amir Khan (Indian Actor), and Shaykh Tariq Jameel (Pakistani Islamic Preacher).

We’ve collected a bunch of pictures of them (found on Muslim Speakers), check them out and pray to Allah swt that he accepts their Hajj.

Note: This post is NOT a celebrity spotlight, the main reason of this post is so we can appreciate Hajj and its concept that no matter how famous one may be, under Allah swt he is all the same. May Allah swt guide us all.

May Allah swt accept and reward all of those who performed Hajj this year, and allow those of us who weren’t able to perform Hajj, to perform it in the near future, Ameen.
