MV: I’ve attended Kutbah’s at Masajids with the biggest infrastructures and highest attendance rate before.
On the way to the ICNA Convention me and my friends stopped at a small local Masjid for Jummah. The Masjid was the length of a bedroom and the attendance was merely at around 20-25 people. And I could tell that the attendees were not the most fortunate. Despite all that however, the Khateeb spoke with such passion and love, such that I have never heard before in some of the biggest Masjids I’ve been to. I could tell that the community was vibrant despite being so small. This made me realize that it’s not the Masjid that makes the people, but the people that make the Masjid.
