MV: As a follow up to our previous post, Sr. Yasmin Mogahed Joins the Al Maghrib Team, Shaykh ANJ has now been confirmed as the second new Al Maghrib instructor!
This brings about a lot of new and interesting opportunities, Shaykh ANJ being such a beloved and appreciated scholar, may bring new students to Al Maghrib classes. Also, I wonder how he’ll have time to balance his schedule for Al Maghrib with his new Qalaam Academy 9 month course along with the Summer intensive and select Bayyinah courses, must be busy!
Sr. Yasmin Mogahed joining Al Maghrib means that there might be an addition of exclusive sister only classes. More Sisters will be inclined to come to classes by her, since many would rather have a sister talk about sister only topics then a brother instructor.
Shaykh ANJ along with Sr. Yasmin Mogahed addition to Al Maghrib’s diverse line of instructors will surely bring new opportunities to the Al Maghrib Institute. We can only imagine what type of classes they might choose to teach.
I think probable classes for Shaykh ANJ may be Qur’anic and Hadith topics, while Sr. Yasmin Mogahed may include classes on modesty and personal struggles.
Being part of the Al Maghrib shura in Dallas, our team is very excited to having Shaykh Abdul Nasir Jangda join the team! Since he lives in Dallas, it’ll be easy and great for an opportunity to set up a class with him here in Dallas. With now three Al Maghrib instructors total living in Dallas, Shaykh Yasir Birjas, Imam Omar Suleiman, and now Shaykh Abdul Nasir Jangda.
We congratulate them both on joining the Al Maghrib team!
What do you all think? Was their other instructors in mind? What classes do you think these instructors will bring to the institute? Voice your opinion in the comments bellow!
